Click to expand.I'm almost sure I recall reading back in ICE magazine that the released album was something like 3% sped up. I think I recall them saying that if you owned something like the half-speed mastered LP it made for an interesting listen, because that wasn't sped up. This might acccount for why the same takes sound slower on acetate vs. The released LP. Sadly I no longer have any back issues of ICE, nor did I ever pick up a half-speed version of Blood for comparison's sake, but that's what my memory's telling me (corrections welcome!).
